Job description
To save irrigation cost and prevent wastage of irrigation water, 500 meters underground irrigation canals are being constructed in private shallow tubewells and 2 cusec low-lift pumps are being installed to increase the use of groundwater. In these low-lift pumps, 1500 meters of underground irrigation is being constructed with header tanks. Besides, training of farmers on Water Saving Technology (AWD) and improving irrigation efficiency is being done so farmers are becoming interested in using Water Saving Technology (Senipa).
